I don't get Chic Lits. After so many heavy reads (nevertheless life changing), I turn to this, so that I will enjoy a light read before turning to the next complicated themed book. I thought, well maybe Alexandra will be as witty as Kinsella, boy! What a disappointment. Though, I love the fact that the author has tackled one of my favorite theme-Time Travelling. But I seriously thought, she could have done better. The author didn't really pull you in to the story which i found a bit boring but nonetheless she successfully delivered her message. No matter how hard you try you can't change your past, instead you need to learn from your mistakes, afterall they made you who you are today, a wiser, smarter, stronger adult "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger", let go of your regrets and don't allow them to keep you from the life you wanted. Live in the moment and above all, never ever let go of yourself or your dreams.
