Lady Emily and Collin are back in London for the Season. Colin is called to investigate a grisly MURDER. Society is thrill and afraid that Front door will be painted RED at night indicating someone has a season that will ruin them. Lady Emily has begin to work for women's rights. The subplots are brought together nicely. Can answers be found before additional Society's secrets are release and other deaths. I recommend this book for lovers of historical romance and mystery. Much better than the previous book. Colin and Lady Emily are back in London and there is a mysterious person spilling red paint over the steps of aristocratic houses. They have to investigate! Along with kidnappings, assault and murder, there are enough mysteries to make everyone keep turning the pages! I am so much happier with their characters and relationships in this book - overall a much happier book and lots of complex relationships and attitudes with enough historical accuracy to be really relevant. Thank you - loved this book.
