Recommended for adventurous knitters. Just the cover of this upcoming knitting book had me clamoring to pick it up. What better then to mix star wars and knitting. Luckily Knits for Nerds goes way beyond just Star Wars. The book is divided into sections such as Fantasy, Comics and Magna, and Science Fiction. Here you will find projects like Hobbit Feet Slippers (fake hair included), dragon rider gloves, and my personal favorite the Star Trek: the Next Generation sweater. Patterns Range from easy to hard, and even if you don’t know how to knit, you will want to pick up the book just to browse through. Who knows, maybe we can get all our geeks and nerds together and pass on an age old craft that requires quite a bit of math.
