About book Kings Of Clonmel (2010)

I took a long break after having read the last book (the reason has nothing to do with the books themselves), and I'm glad I came back. I was physically smiling throughout the entire book (which is not something that I do)- I was enjoyed to see the return of many reference jokes from previous books and the creation of new ones. This author's sense of humor never ceases to impress me- he somehow manages to work in comedic timing and tone through the written word, which is amazing. The storylines of the Ranger's Apprentice novels are generally straightforward, but I always appreciate the way in which the characters address the conflict. This book involves less arrows being fired and more political intrigue being instigated. I loved Halt and Horace's response to the growing popularity of the religious cult, and it was also great to see a fully competent and capable Will perform many dangerous tasks without so much as a hint of nervousness. This series continues to be one of my all-time favorite to read.

Do You like book Kings Of Clonmel (2010)?

This eighth novel in Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice series was, as always adventurous and exciting, but it also showed the continual development of the characters. It was done simply, but that simplicity in no way diminished its impact. It was fascinating to get a little history lesson and then to see the next page of that history written before my very eyes. The humor was sidesplitting as always. After all, I don't call Flanagan the Master of Playful Banter for nothing.Read these books and you'll be laughing, thrilled, moved and absolutely begging for more!

This boos is a very exiting book. Book 8 is a great story about the past of Will’s mentor, Halt – where he comes from, his family, and why he left Clonmel. We have subplots involving a nasty cult, Halt’s family, and his relationship with the King of Clonmel, Ferris. We have duels, assassins, bandits, smooth talking cult leaders, cowardly kings, giant bodyguards, and of course rangers. In other words, the book is full of action and will make you want to read more.

It's always exciting when a fasle religion tries and takes over the world.
