This was a great "first in the series" book!! It's a spin off from the BOI's series & the characters over lap! I loved it, because I don't miss the guys of BOI anymore, because they're working with & part of the guys in this series!!Here is some more Black Ops/Spec Ops that we all love so much. We met Mike Brown/Primetime/Flyboy in the last series. He's the pilot who kept saving the BOI's asses! Getting out of tight spaces etc. NOW we get to hear his story & what makes him tick. It's also a story of redemption & a SMART female heroine! I loved that! She wasn't whiney or bitchy! WOW! And she made up her mind so easily! YAY!! I would have sales through if I wasn't interrupted so many times! GEEZ!!Loved it!! You can start here & go to the BOIs later, or read that series first! It makes no difference!! I am reading all her books! I have not been disappointed yet! I take that back! I wish the men were real & one was mine… Disappointing to not get one for myself!! Gerard continues the heart-pounding storylines that she is well known for. Vintage Gerard, you say? Abso-freakin’-lutely! And I love it!This is a fast paced suspense read that will fill you with trepidation, yet unable to put the book down! 5 STARS
