Wow. A Star Wars book I did not rage-quit - and I am super picky when it comes to Star Wars EU books.I liked this one because it wasn't trying too hard to sound like a Star Wars book. No forced dialogue, no forced character development. This story was able to breathe, and breathe it did.The only reason I rate it down a star is lack of Obi Wan at times, and how the focus seemed to rest on the other characters. (And the weird ass love story that came out of nowhere between the main chick and Obi Wan. Thankfully he did not reciprocate. But still...)I liked it, and I'd certainly recommend it to anyone. It makes me hungry for more Kenobi stories. Having not read a Star Wars books in a couple years, this was a nice re-introduction to the whole series. Kenobi is Star Wars without the space ships, the large scale war... it's like a western, with bar fights and trouble with the locals. The book is called Kenobi but not a single chapter is told from Ben's point of view - which actually worked. The other, new protagonists were compelling and interesting, showing what an average day of a moisture farmer would be like. Seeing Obi-wan adjust to just being 'Ben' was nearly heart-wrenching; coming to terms with the recent event and learning to adjust to the hermit life, realizing it's harder than it looks. I have a feeling there's more to be written here. Ben's exile to Tatooine has only just begun, with 19 years left... I can't wait to see if there are other novels produced to follow up after.
Do You like book Kenobi (2013)?
Probably the best Star Wars novel I have read since the original Timothy Zahn series.

Great book. Hopefully another book or two to bridge Episode IV.
