Simply told, this book was amazing. It had everything I wanted. A "cool, calm, collected" woman who is by the way also a lawyer and a "confident, famous, irresistible" man who is also the most famous Hollywood star, two people who normally wouldn´t have anything to do with each other suddenly get together. I have always loved such stories and this one was by far one of the best. What I found best is that both simply ooze with confidence and that is in my opinion the most important thing. And I might add that the fact that Taylor doesn´t swoon immediately because she is going to work with THE Sexiest Man Alive makes people admire her. She is also a no-nonsense woman who beats everyone in the courtroom. And Jason... that man except his gorgeous features is very easy to despise because of his character. But who doesn´t like a bad boy? Seems like Taylor is one of those very few who just won´t get taken down so easily. But in the end even Taylor can´t resist this gorgeous bad boy´s charm. In this story we can also see how a typical ego-inflated Hollywood star changes and feels guilt, regret and love again. The supporting cast in this book is also excellent. We meet wanna-be big names, agents, publicity hungry stringers and paparazzi who will do anything for that one moneymaker shot. "Just the Sexiest Man Alive" is the one of the best romance books ever. So that´s the reason why I recommend this book to everyone who is looking for a book to swoon over. Julie James first novel really amazes me. From now on you will be one of my favorite authors! Great story! This book is another fun, enjoyable contemporary romance with all the style elements I know and love from Julie James. For those of you not familiar with this fabulous author, her story wheelhouse includes the following core plot elements: strong, intelligent female protagonists, witty banter, sarcasm for days, and great romantic chemistry between characters. I will admit, however, that the FBI/US Attorney series is still my favorite of Julie James’ books.Ultimately I find that the author creates protagonists that I would want to be friends with in real life. Who doesn’t appreciate that in a book?
