It reads brisk and concise, but there isn't much real insight here, just information. Ive is pretty reticent as a public figure, so perhaps it's to be expected, but the book also lacks real in-depth analysis on the social, cultural and historical factors that Ive works within. It's a pity -- a good bio or memoir is a great opportunity to learn more about a time period or the field the subject is in, but the bio misses that opportunity. Still, a nice beginning primer on Apple, Ive and British industrial design.
