About book JFK And The Unspeakable: Why He Died And Why It Matters (2008)

This is one of the better books about the murder of President John F. Kennedy. It offers a spiritual perspective that most other books do not address directly. And that is how the cover-up and allowing Kennedy's killers to get away with their evil deed continues to corrode the soul of this nation. (I stopped believing anything the government said the day I learned that the Warren Commission pinned the entire blame on Lee Harvey Oswald.) I have read only a small sample of the huge list of books about the assassination. This tome taught me about the other cities where would-be killer lay in wait, and about the framing of the first African-American member of the Secret Service's White House detail because he would not keep silent about what he knew of the conspiracy. The book rambles a bit and at times is confusing, probably because the layers of the plot are so complex. I found it worth following, even if on occasion it filled me with grief and sadness over the dim prospects of the whole truth about this coup d'etat ever seeing the light of day. JFK and the Unspeakable was an excellent book. This book goes deep into the reasoning behind the Kennedy assassination. Before this book I read Mark Lane's Last Words. It was about the Assassination and I felt like something was missing. This book fills that void. While reading this book I got a better understanding of who Kennedy was as a person and developed a new found respect for him. He was a courageous, strong willed man, who was not afraid to die for a just cause. Despite his many opponents in his own government, he forged on to create what he thought was a better world for people to live in. When asked who my hero's are in life, JFK will be added to it. I highly recommend this book to anybody and everybody.
