About book James Potter En De Kluis Der Lotsbestemmingen (2000)
It was my least favorite in the series. So well written, brilliant pieces in between. I loved the clutch matches, the American setting and the detail. It was never boring. But I think the author was in a hurry and did not think through the ending which is depressing and chaotic at best.Everything else was great, but why did he have to kill Lucy? I am not able to cope up with that loss. I would have accepted Petra as bad and even liked that because James was catching up with Lucy. I was hoping Lippert would do some Dimensional shift shit again and we would have Lucy back alive and that it all turns out different, but it went as bad as it could have gone.I would probably still read the next one in the series, because I secretly hope that Lippert was fooling around in the end and somehow Lucy would come back.If you have read only till the second book; in my view, stop there, the third book is a trap, it is the best book in the series till the moment before last and then suddenly it turns the worst possible way.I'm sorry I can only give it 2 stars; it having spoiled itself. (just like Petra and Morgan) Para mim é um pouco dificil esquecer que esta nao é a continuaçao oficial da serie HP, estes livros estao tao bem feitos e o universo esta tao parecido que volto a ficar imersa no mundo magico novamente.Em relaçao a este 3º volume, foi optimo ver finalmente uma escola de magia sem ser Hoghwarts, desde o "harry potter e o calice de fogo" que fiquei com imensa vontade de saber mais sobre as outras escola, é obvio que Alma Aleron não é Drumstrrang nem Beaubatoux mas mesmo assim gostei imenso =D o facto de nao haverem casas mas sim "irmandades", o Wood ser um dos professores, todo o misterio á volta da petra e do cofre dos destinos, adorei a historia mas ao mesmo tempo "odiei" algumas partes. o que aconteceu no final foi ????? nao o que estava o autor a pensar para fazer aquilo à Lucy, juro que mesmo ate ao final do livro fiquei a espera que acontecesse alguma coisa que mudasse essa parte, e o facto do muggles saberem finalmente que os feiticeiros existem, enfim este livro para mim acabou muito mal, muito em abertos e so por isso nao merece as 5 estrelas, espero que o proximo venham exclarecer muitas das duvidas que este deixou em aberto.
