About book Ivy And Intrigue: A Very Selwick Christmas (2000)
I love this series. It's got romance, intrique, history, suspense, comedy....and this little novella..an insert into the series is a quick read, but totally fits in with the series, but if you didn't read any of the other books, you would still enjoy and WANT to read the rest!!! England, France, Napoleon, spies....and a modern day American studying in London.....trying her hand at romance while working on her doctorate thesis.....never a dull moment. This was a novella that is part of the Pink Carnation series. I enjoyed this added insight to the characters. However, I found that the ending was a bit abrupt and left me with unanswered questions. I belive these questions were probably answered in book that follows this novella in the series, but I read the first few books awhile back and I don't recall all the details. It was nice to hear about Richard and Amy after their marriage. This would be one that fans of the Pink Carnation series will want to read.
