A very interesting read. It gives a brief overview of the bias in the Christian church (at least in American Evangelicalism) towards extrovertism. He spends plenty of time to the balance between the two personalities, and shares some good insights. He does spend a bit too much time on leadership, and the book is gear a bit too much towards pastors for my liking. But this book gave voice to a lot of my frustration as an introvert in the church and the expectations therein. I have to admit I went into this thinking that I couldn't possibly read anything about introverts I hadn't already heard, but hoping for some concrete solutions in terms of community building in the church setting. I did find that concrete information, but this book is so much more. I hesitate to go into too much detail, because I'm sure that would say more about me than it does about the book, but suffice it to say I think reading it is going to revolutionize the way I do business. I highly recommend it to anyone who occasionally finds themselves (or wants to occasionally find themselves) in a church.
