About book Into The Void (2013)

Not really sure to give this book three stars or four. It was really hard to get into because of the way it was written. The wording can get confusing and the change between past and present storyline. There was no clear indication of when the story was changing. Over all it was a good book. I like how the storyline was always moving but I can't help feeling that something was lacking. Maybe it needed more depth to the characters or more information about Tython? Whatever it is, it's worth finishing the book to the end. I really enjoyed this book. It goes a long way to explain the origin of the Jedi. Who and what they were in the early years. Before light versus dark even. I thought the characters where well thought out and liked the way they develop through the story with snippets from their past at the beginning of each chapter. The one drawback that prevents me giving this book 5 stars is it's predictable plot. I kept hoping for a twist, which sadly never came.
