About book Indigo King (2009)

Not as good as the first, not as bad as the second of the same series. Sometimes the "big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff", as Doctor Who would say, is annoying. And so is the end of the book, trying insistently to make you curious for the next book, without even mentioning the most interesting part of the plot that is pending to the next book. It looks pretty much like a side story to the saga. I think the reason I liked this book so much better than the other three I've read (including book four) is because the main characters are not the viewpoint characters. Because more creative license can be used with the Mordred and Merlin characters, they were more sympathetic and compelling than the three Caretakers, who are real people. There was also a good use of foreshadowing of the final escape.

Do You like book Indigo King (2009)?

This was a good book but there is some time travel in it which always end up confusing me a little!

I felt that this one didn't really live up to the first two in the series.
