The series storyline is captivating. I personally am not a big love triangle-or in this case quadrangle kind of person. I feel they are hard to write, often the character comes across as capricious and the reader will empathize to their true mate. This aspect of this series makes it hard for me to read. Especially since Evie states she is devoted to Reed yet shares all these intimate moments with the other men. It kinda takes away from her character, making her seem shallow and easily swayed/fickle. I still tore through the books but found myself skimming through the parts where Reed was gone. Evie's character development just didn't hold my interest and I feel if she acted more like her character tends to read with her unfathomable love towards her angel (if that makes sense) it would add more to the story and make her character stronger as well. This series was,,,well how do i say this..Shit goes DOWN. And angel books have never been like a big thing I looked for. But this series had made me see perspective. You'd think there'd be no more monsters or demons or angels to add, ha. your wrong.It never once failed to keep me on my toes, and I never know what to expect in each book.They just keep getting better and better.
these books are crazy good...never have I wanted a series to keep going and going...
