The overall concept is interesting but the execution needs a little work. So much felt rushed .. I felt there needed to be more leading up to their developing relationship .. or at least allude to it .. but we went from nothing to 90 mph in a heart beat. In one breath she stated she couldn't have a relationship then she was instantly in love with the next .. while I know some people fall in love at first sight, it was more than that. The heroine was always contradicting herself .. it was rather distracting and annoying .. usually I'm the type who can't wait to see what happens next in the story but unfortunately I'll think I'll pass ******SPOILER ALERT******First off I LOVED JAX! He's the perfect character and I loved everything about him from sexy musician to family man! K.Pinson did a wonderful job telling this story. Ava had such a hard upbringing which effects her life majorly. Her parents are dead and she now has a wonderful baby girl Abby to take care of because there is nobody else. I think Abby and her love for Ava is evident. They are made for one another and they live with happy lives. Aside from Ava having some of her spells of memories she seems to shrug them off as much as she can. Dax comes into the picture and he's everything a woman could want from a man! Takes the family role immediately and lets Abby into his life like she's his own. It stirs Ava for a little because things seem to move fast for her but she knows its right. He shows his love for her and she's drawn to him so much she doesn't want to leave his side, or his bed, ha!I will have to say this was one of a few i've read lately where i'm dying to know what happens next! I'm so excited to read book 2 and find out what happens! I love Ava and Dax's relationship!Great book! Will look forward to reading more from this author!
