A brilliant story.I saw a lot of negative reviews on this book, but i personally disagree with all of them. This book was brilliant, in a way that only fairytailes can be. Imagine the tales of the Irish of old, come to life in a beautiful, terrible way that keeps you riveted to each page, each word, each letter. Now add to that a plucky Hero, a hot wander, the Mafia, and a karaoke loving little boy. That is what this story is. Is it any wonder why i adored it? :3 Goblins have never been so terrifying. One tragedy has opened a whole new world of deadly secrets. The thing I loved most about this book was the mythology woven onto the pages. I have seen plenty of books with goblins, but none that focused solely on them and their origins. The characters in this book were some of the most memorable and heart warming I have ever met. They are all unique and at times kooky, but so much fun.Teagan is one of the more serious characters in the book. She is a hard worker with clear goals in mind that she will not let anyone stand in the way of. I liked her determination and strength of will throughout the story. She is a really kind hearted girl who can't stand seeing anyone or anything hurt. She uses her skills to help others and is determined to do so for the rest of her life. Abby is Teagan's best friend and quirky sidekick. She is the more artistic of the two and knows how to kick some butt. She is also the love expert and loves to give advice even when the person doesn't know they need it. Abby is so much fun and I can't wait to see more of her in the sequel. Aiden is Teagan's little brother and so adorable. The little devil loves to get into mischief, but finds it very easy to charm anyone he meets. His presence throughout the book was so much fun he could lighten the mood no matter what trouble they were in.My absolute favorite character was Finn. He is the charming goblin hunter who could sweeten anyone's day. He is also very confident and even a bit cocky at times, but he also has a heart of gold and would jump to the rescue no matter the danger. He is a true hero who has seen the best and worst of life at times, but still believes in the goodness of others.Delve into the world of goblins and magic in "Tyger Tyger"!
