With the research funding she's been awarded to her, her department head believes the only way she'll succeed is if she experiences the emotions herself so tells her to take some time off to build relationships and live a little. She finds herself attracted to her neighbour Jensen and asks for his help in understanding emotions of love, lust, and finds herself falling for him and trying to understand the new emotions Jensen makes her feel. Found this book to be a very easy enjoyable read that had me smiling and laughing, which got me many strange looks from my daughter! Would highly recommend this book to other readers. What a delightful little gem this book is. Lucy is a genius. And with her genius she is unemotional. Enter her hot neighbor Jensen. Who of course creates lots of strange new delightful hot emotions. Throw in some amazing new friends plus an experiment and you get one heck of a good story. The chemistry between Jensen and Lucy is smoldering and the little plot twists that make Jensen's personality up made me smile. This is one of the smartest books I have ever read. I loved all the quotes at the beginning of the chapters. It really gives one food for thought. This is one of the most original books I have read and I cannot wait for more from this series and author!!
Funny, romantic story with a little bit of steamy thrown in. Quick read but enjoyable.
