About book Immune - Book Two Of The Rho Agenda (2010)
I had borrowed this book from my manager at work. I was able to read during slow times and got about halfway through. But then, things got busy and I was not able to finish. I only read this book, and the first, because my manager insisted they were wonderful. I actually thought the first book was about something else. Had I known it was science fiction, I wouldn't have read it. Not really my thing. By the time I figured it out, I was into it. I didn't find the second book as interesting. A little too strange for my taste. Feb 2014: I've been reading this book for weeks...held library books keep coming available. Fortunately, its really easy to pick back up in the middle of the story. :)Six weeks later: still reading. Still getting cast aside by library books. Still plan on finishing it. :)Two weeks later: finished! I think it was as good as the first one...maybe slightly better. I may have noted in my review of the first book, and I'll note again here, this is not a YA for the younger "young adults". It's incredibly violent and quite graphic. I wouldn't recommend it for my 12-yr-old nephew, but maybe a 14 or 15 yr old.New library hold just came in, so holding off on "Wormhole" (book 3 of the Rho Agenda) until I can devote some time to it.

The story continues to be engaging, if not overly compelling. Made for decent road trip fare.
