A poorly-matched couple's love (or, attempts-at-love-)story told in Rashomon fashion. (Interestingly, I read this while we have been watching the Showtime series, "The Affair", which uses the same device.)The relationship in this book between the country farmer and the town librarian (whom her farmer-lover describes in all aspects of her appearance, attire and personality as "beige")seems ill-fated, but it actually ends in a rather surprising manner. (Anything more would be a spoiler.)This book was written in Swedish by a Swedish author. The English translator's name is Sarah Death.The dust jacket notes that it has sold more than 450,000 copies in Sweden. If Swedish TV has its own version of "Masterpiece Theater - Contemporary", this is certain to be produced for it. Μου αρεσε αν και ηθελα να ειχα ειλικρινα και το δευτερο βιβλιο για να συνεχισω την ιστορια.Απλο,ωραιο και μια ιστορια για μια κοπελα της πολης που χανει τον συζυγο της και για ενα γεροντοπαλικαρο τις υπαιθρου που και αυτος με την σειρα του εχει χασει την αγαπημενη του μητερα.Αυτοι δυο ανθρωποι ειναι μεσα στην μιζερια ωσπου δειλα-δειλα ανταμονωνται στο πιο παραξενο σημειο (κοιμητηριο) και εκει μια σπιθα ελπιδας αρχιζει και τρεμοπαιζει.Απο κει και περα συνεχιζεται για μενα κατι σαν την συγχρονη ιστορια,με λαθη και ανατροπες και ενας αγροτης με μια βιβλιοθηκαριο μπορουν να συνηπαρξουν??Αυτο θα το μαθουμε λιαν συντομως γιατι το 2 βιβλιο θα βγει απο τις εκδοσεις Πατακη αρχες Νοεβριου Σαν τον Σκυλο με την γατα.Αυτο το βιβλιο που εγραψα την κριτικη λεγεται αν και μακαβριο-Ο τυπος του διπλανου ταφου.Μα και εξου και η ιστορια ...
