I have loved Ali Harris's other works but not this one. I REALLY tried. The last 100 pages were really touching but the constant back flip to different time frames- one moment is the current moment, then to the part where they were teenagers, and then the part where they were about to get married; it's INSANE. Backflips to the past are fine only if there's ONLY one time frame. Anything more than that, it just makes the reader disorientated and dissipates the vibe for reading. I really tried to like this, but nahhhhh. I'm cognitively exhausted by the many back flips in different time frames. Fantastic! Hug, kiss and never let go the people you love and care about. True meaning in life is love, and showing the love to people we care the most. The people that are reason why we love life and living. Don't hide your emotions and don't be afraid to love and show how much you love someone. I really liked the characters, the writing and the story. Everything is so real, and truly described, from situations to emotions. It is about teenage crush-love which grows in true everlasting love, with all the ups and downs. It is about two people who are so different that only love can bring them together. She dreams about great big life in a great big city, but he will never stop to be a small-town boy, and when they finaly find the way to overcome their differences, cruelty of life changes their plans. The fans of "One Day" and "P.S. I Love You" will be enchanted.
