The second novel in the Beautiful Young Things trilogy. In the second novel, we follow the lives of the three women we met in the first novel. It’s a rather dull novel, and is full of filler material that is boring, and not that exciting. It will probably lead to what’s to come, but for a whole novel to feel like filler is rather boring. Cordelia opens a bar in honor of her dead father, Letty becomes a real star after failing many times, and Astrid is so focused on love that she does stupid things, things that could ruin her relationship. Everyone’s love lives take turns for the worst, and for the better, but how they end up, you just have to read and find out for yourself. Overall, it’s a boring second book that could have been more exciting than it was. This is the 2 in the series & I enjoyed it. The 3 main characters are very different, yet friends. Sometimes Astrid seems a little over the top, but then I realize she was a spoiled rich girl in the roaring 20s & it makes sense. Despite coming from such a different background as the other 2, she is still a sweetheart. Reading about how they party all night & sleep all day is such a fun concept, but you can understand why that life didn't last too long. It's a fun read about a time period I haven't read a lot about.
Do You like book Ihania Päiviä (2000)?
Quite slow and light on plot, but the ending was enjoyable and left me wanting to read book 3.

Astrid reminds me of Rarity from _My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic_.I may be weird.
