I love anything by Rhys Bowen. This one rates top of the tops. (Actually, I read #12 before this, thinking it came after #10.) In this volume, Molly is a newly-wed on a delayed honeymoon. There's a nicely convoluted, historically accurate plot, a cast of characters that include many suspects, and a death, even deaths, that may, or may not be accidental. Oh, yes, there's illness, and the possibility of ghosts. I have enjoyed Rhys Bowen's Molly Murphy (now Molly Murphy Sullivan) stories. This one brings Molly and her new husband, Daniel Sullivan, to Newport, RI, on the invitation of a New York alderman and building executive, ostensibly to have their delayed honeymoon. It actuality, the alderman wants to consult with Daniel, a NY police detective, about a problem but the alderman dies before the problem can be revealed. tThis was a good read; I just found the conclusion odd.
Do You like book Hush Now, Don't You Cry (2012)?
Unfortunately, this episode in the Molly Murphy series was not up to par.
