I love the photography. This was a $3 kindle book and you can't beat that. Kindles are at their best with photography books . . . If they are formatted correctly. This was not. Each photo should be full page. With this edition, you have to double tap photos to see them properly, and then tap out of them. As a nature photographer, I understand the dilemmas of choosing which photo to publish. I see nuance in each shot so that I want to publish them all. That is, however, boring to others. Casteel seems to have the same problem. As gorgeous as they are, the shots become repetitive.Despite these two problems, the book is worth the money (and the effort to read it) and I recommend it to all. A few things you should know about this book: 1)The photography is amazing. Seriously beautiful work. 2)Sometimes underwater dogs are freaky looking! 3)Other times they are really cute. 4)The photographer is super good looking. Not actually that important, but I greatly admired his picture in the back of the book, so there you go.It's such an interesting project, and it's really well done. If you like dogs and or/photography, you'll probably enjoy looking at this one.
