How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth is a fun book about how to give a mammoth a bath. The little girl narrating this story gives a step by step instruction on how to get the mammoth into the bath and then how to wash him really well. In the end the woolly mammoth gets dirty again along with the little girl and they take a bath together. I think this book would be a great book to use in a hygiene lesson or teaching students how to write step by step instructions. The illustrations go along with the step by step process. I also enjoyed the illustrations because they were done in pastel colors and the pictures were really big so that you could easily see what was going on. The words were also easy to see on the pages as well. I really liked this book and would recommend you get it. With lively, detailed illustrations, this picture book provides step-by-step instructions for how to bathe a wooly mammoth. The first page contains images of Q-tips, brushes, combs, and mammoth-specific grooming products such as "Meadow Fresh" and "Tusk Whitener." The little girl determined to get her mammoth sparkling clean is adorable--as is the wooly mammoth itself. This one is fun to read aloud from beginning to end.
