About book How I Stole Johnny Depp's Alien Girlfriend (2011)
This book isn't what I normally read, but I liked the title so I picked it up. The story is about Zelda, an alien from the all girl planet of Vahalal, and her mission to find her 'chosen one' with the help of her human slave (Pudin), David, who is madly in love with Zelda. The only bad part is, Zelda doesn't know her chosen one's name, only his DNA and what he looks like. She can sample DNA by kissing her chosen one, who just happens to be Johnny Depp. The book was funny but I wouldn't recommend it because it's a little bit boring. At first I just couldn’t believe why someone wrote a fiction based on an alien girl looking for Johhny Depp. It turns out to be really funny and I really liked the humor that the author did and it could be a cartoon instead. I think it would be better as a cartoon show than a book because it wasn’t like how I imagined it. I imagined it to start with a girl from another planet who had run away so she could learn more about humans. On her journey she met a man and they became friends but the man was in love with the girl but she was not. She traveled around with her friend until they met Johnny Depp. The girl and Johnny Depp fell in love.The real story was between a little boy and a girl that everyone thinks is super crazy because she was trying to find Johnny Depp, who she thinks she is destined to be with.I was really disappointed that it wasn't like that at all.
