As I was reading this book....Idris Elba kept coming into my mind as Preston.I really liked this book and am looking forward to reading the sequels to see how it all ends.Delight got on my nerves with all that bitching about every little thing, I think he should have left her nagging ass a long time ago. I liked his friend Longs who tried to help him but Preston was just too damned hardheaded to listen. Lustray was like so many women who just wants to love and be loved in return and so did Preston. I would like to see these two end up together. I was extremely disappointed and quite irritated that anyone would publish such a poorly written book. I was especially annoyed that it is an African-American Christian Fiction book. I purchased it as a free ebook and felt that I had paid much too much for it. I purchased the two sequels on the same day for a few dollars. I am currently reading the second book of this trilogy entitled "How Do I Get Out of Here?" which isn't any better than the first but being the optimist that I am, I continue to read on hoping the author will somehow redeem himself a bit by the conclusion of the trilogy entitled "Never Going Back There." I pray God will do a continued work on the heart and mind of this author, pulling a greater work out of him in years to come.
It was a good book but didn't the male character. He wanted his cake and eat it to.
