Cute holiday story, which is what I wanted. Making a new life after a traumatic event, moving, meeting a sexy Highlander, and throw in magic...for the season and for life in general. Can't go wrong for an easy reading.I was especially impressed with Chapman for including ideas of what can, and should, be done for children/people in general who suffer from terrible scarring. This lady has ideas on how to show acceptance. End of a delightful series! Sad to see it end. I read it like one big book. By the time I got to this one I had to refresh my memory on some of the other stories. I really like Ms. Chapman's writing. The story moves along with very little filler. When she needs to remind you of a character's place in the overall story, it is subtle and doesn't get in the way of the current action. Hope you enjoy the series as much as I did.
Ian is by far my favorite McKeage. Protective, possessive and patient. Love.
