4 Frump girl stars!!I don't know why I waited so long to read this book because it was such a good read it had me smiling throughout the whole story. I absolutely loved Delilah she was funny, sexy, witty and did not annoy the life out of me. Now Nick too was loveable and yes thanks to him I have Plain White T's Hey there Delilah song stuck in my head :)All through the book I had a huge grin on my face because both MC's were amazing together their connection was fantastic and their chemistry was hot as hell! So why four stars? Only because their relationship wasn't much of a taboo but it still had the naughty boss/employee concept. All in all I loved the book and won't be waiting too long to read the rest of the series. This is the story of Delilah, who we meet near the beginning of the book when she walks in on her douche of a boyfriend nailing her bitchy boss. Needless to say, she quits the job and the boyfriend. She gets hired by a high-profile, sexy-as-hell attorney, Nick. Delilah has always dressed frumpy and is seriously lacking in the self-confidence department. Nick is looking for a secretary he won't want to spend his day chasing around the office, and Delilah fits the bill.Delilah goes from ugly duckling to swan. Nick and her unknowingly engage in a steamy affair each weekend, all the while, they're falling in love with one another each day at work. The story was highly predictable, but still good. It was a lighthearted, sappy love story...and I liked it. If you're looking for a deeply emotional, soul-crushing, cry your eyes out romance, this isn't it. If you'd like a light, straightforward book to read, you'll probably like this one!
Do You like book Hey There, Delilah (2013)?
