I put this one at 4 1/2 stars - one of my favorites of Jill Shalvis booksOlivia and Cole both have pasts that have shaped their wariness of relationships in the present. They find each other and an undeniable attraction takes hold. Their only path to love is for them each to deal with the issues that have shaped their lives. Olivia is giving and loving, a great side of her that was not apparent when she was introduced in a previous book. She became more likable as more of Olivia's true self was revealed. I especially enjoyed her friendship with the other ladies who live in the warehouse. Cole is Mr. Fix it and he is a source of comfort for his family. I really enjoyed Cole's comments and impressions of his family. But it is his strong connection that he has with his two best friends that I find made me smile the most. It wasn't all dumb jokes and showing off muscles - in this books the three friends deal with some painful issues. This book was steamy while I enjoyed it there was one point where I had to double check that I didn't move back a bunch of pages on my e-reader because it seemed like the steamy scene I was reading was a repeat. I have the next book - which I think turns out to be the last full-length book in this series - and I will be starting it today.I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest review. I have always enjoyed books by Jill Shalvis and her books seem to get better and better. This is another installment to the Lucky Harbor series. This is one of those books that could go either bad and good.I understood why Olivia lied so much but when she kept saying hey I need to come clean and doesn't that there is an issue at least to me.The couple has chemistry between them that clearly can be read as the story develops...Humorous engaging read that is I can honestly rate a 4 stars.
Great, fun read! Always enjoy reading Jill's books. Love the Lucky Harbor series.
