I don't know what the hell I just read but don't waste your time. This is a serial that only takes up about 60% of the book. The rest are advertisements for the author's other works. There are quite a few editing errors. Phrases repeated twice, scenes being referenced that never occurred. Random sex, and the heroine finds out his name at the "end" of the "book". It was a mess. I kept reading to see where it was going and then it just stopped. This book should have been longer and not broken into pieces. I liked it okay but it was like reading a chapter and waiting for the next one. I do not like that. I'm glad I didn't pay for it and I am not interested enough with what I did read to want to buy any more of it. If it was free or the whole thing was one book instead of snippets then I might read the rest. The writing itself was fairly good but again it was off-putting to read just so far then end.
didn't know that the story ends so abruptly. Don't personally care for that in a story.
