Not too bad. I quite like the premise - that there are gargoyles who are waiting to help save the world from evil. I mean there was vampires, witches, werewolves, angels...now gargoyles. The main characters Ella (human) and Kees (made of stone) seemed to work well together - chemistry was good, sex scenes were hot. Overall a good read, I look forward to seeing what the next book in the series will bring. Heart of Stone is a new series by Christine Warren. Ella Harrow works as a in a museum as a gift shop manager, and museum tour guide. Ella has powers she does not understand and keeps them hidden. Without knowing how Ella has awakened a gargoyle. Kees has know idea how he was awaken by evil must be close. Kees is a guardian that has been protecting the human world from the seven demons of the dark, who are trying to break free from their prison. It will take the two of them to find the rest of the guardians to awaken them and save the world again.
