This is one of the greatest book I've read. I usually never read fantasy books because 90% of the time i hate it. As a matter of fact i only started reading these series because i watch the movies. I also must admit i that the books are better than the movies. The book surprised me in a lot of ways. It had more details than the movie and i realize i should have started reading this series a long time ago. What i really like about the book it is very realistic than any other fantasy books than I've read. Its about Harry Potter a boy who was the only one who lived up to Voldemort and got a scar for it while his parents died. He then has to stay with his aunt and uncle who treat him miserably. Later he finds out after 10 years that he's a wizard and he eventually has to stand up to Voldemort with the help of his friends. This book shows lots of conflict and a bit of emotion. I am currently starting the next book. A character in this novel that interested me was Hermione Granger; this is because she goes through immense changes throughout the course of the text. At the beginning she is extremely focused on her schooling and grades. ‘”We could have been killed, or worse expelled.”’ However by the time the novel comes to a close, she is less uptight, but still works hard in her classes. She realises that her friends also play an important role In her life.
