I liked this book, liked the plot. But just as it was getting started it was over. I hate books that just suddenly end when things are just starting to happen. I believe this is a three book series, that I suspect could all have been told in one book. great writing but the length of this first book puts me off wanting to read the next one knowing it's probably going to be short and unfinished. it's too bad to because I want to know where Lola and Drez were heading. Um. I don't mind books in a series, in fact, I quite like them. But to be a series, you kind of have to write three books. Not one book chopped up into three to get more money out of the poor unsuspecting public. This is basically only one whole day and not even a great day, of time so not all that much can really happen in the scheme of character progression. And guess what? Not much does. It's alright but I'm mighty pissed off I'm gonna have to buy the next one to see if anything happens.
Good book, but very edgy. I imagine this is what life on the roadd really would be like.
