i've been meaning to read Robb as a crime/thriller book fan, and am happy this was the book i started with. i listened to it in audio, and i was hooked from the start. this fast-paced story wasted no time getting into the crime, followed by a chase and enjoyable ending. i loved all the many twists and turns, and really appreciated the comedic elements sprinkled in {one scene in particular set in a Sephora-esque store put a huge smile on my face}. another thing i really like is that while set in the future, this world isn't so unbelievable with all of its gadgets and high-tech devices and "lingo". i'm looking forward to going all the way to the beginning of this series. :) Once again, Eve Dallas and her police friends prevail over a bad guy, who murders four people, including his parents. Somehow, it seems as though it might have taken less time with receipts, etc. This awful person bludgeoned his mother to death with a baseball bat. This series takes place in the future where people have droids to do their biding. The title deals with the fact that it takes place just before Thanksgiving.
