About book Ha Vuelto (2012)

Izvrsno!Uživala sam od prve do posljednje stranice.Godine 2011. No,ništa zato! The idea behind 'Er ist wieder da" is probably better than the execution - in fact, one could argue that reading the first two pages, with re-awakened Hitler raging about the Volk's inability to destroy Germany the way he ordered (the doors, the door knobs...all needs to be destroyed), is as good as the book ever gets. And that's very good. After that, the book starts to become more and more a criticism of today's society, whether that's the TV programme (as evidenced by the fictional MyTV), the political parties or other 'issues'. And as the criticism mounts, it starts to lose what makes it different, and read bait like your favourite newspaper's Sunday column. What ultimately ensures some continued enjoyment (if somewhat lessened) are some great supporting characters in the story - especially his secretary Frau Krömeier and the young Frank Sawatzki from the agency Flashlight - and some brilliant passages, such as the one about Hitler's fight with the BILD is just brilliant. So go and read it - either the first couple of pages, or all of it.

Who would have thought that a book about Hitler could be so freaking boring?
