This had a lot of promise. I was hoping for more from the game sequences. I thought the video game segments would play more like an actual game--rather than like a movie, which made it seem less real. Some of the issues (gender identity) just seemed sort of dropped in--and so the resolution (or lack thereof) was hard to follow. It was an ok read, but not as fun as I thought it could be, given the premise. Wow this book is not what I was expecting at all. The beginning to about page 250 is your everyday sweet girl/dark boy story, but then it chnages and just the whole way it went about suprised me. I hate for Lesh how his friends just abandoned him during his time of need(except for Svetlana[1 v] of course). I do love how the story focuses more on the male counterpart of the story and shows how he is going through his life and seeking to find himself, even if the way he goes about it isn't exactly normal. I was sad when it ended which tells me that it was a good book. All in all, I loved the book and the story. Great job Steve Brrezenoff.

I probably would have liked this book a lot more had I been a gamer. Nonetheless, this was nice.
