About book Gunnerkrigg Court, Vol. 2: Research (2010)
Perfectly fine for 4th grade and up.I adore this book, I adore this comic. I am starting to believe that Tom really might know everything. His rendition of Coyote was beautifully spot on, and his knowledge of Coyote tales are fairly consistent. His characters are a pleasure to encounter, and the sense of mystery in his work keeps me locked to every page with a steel cable.I'd go higher than 5/5 if I could. After reading volume one, I immediately looked for volume two and was disappointed to discover that it is out of print. Fortunately, my wife enjoyed vol. 1 as much as I did and found a used copy. I'm very glad she did, because vol. 2 is just as good as the first. Better, if you consider that the art has improved. Once I read vol. 3, I'll be going through the web-comic's archive and catching up to where the story is now.
