Overall, I quite liked this book. This was a different twist on the traditional love triangle, and had elements that were both magical and supernatural. Let's start with the positives. Firstly, Jesse and his pack were great. A little bit too convenient how they all pretty much ended up together, but they were all good characters and pretty well defined. I liked Jesse and Tonya in particular. The other positive was the plot. Fast-paced and interested, the twists were pretty good even though I did see a few of them coming. But it deep keep me interested and wanting to read me. The downsides: Lacey was a bit too stupid at times and made some terrible, irrational decisions. Overall she was likable as a main character but it was a stretch at times. I also don't really like the whole 'I'm in love with you after two days' things; it always irks me. You can't love someone until you know them! And two days is not enough time! And then of course she goes and gets all annoyed when she finds out something about him that she doesn't like - of course she can't know everything yet!But probably the biggest letdown was just the writing. Sasha (the evil, sexy werewolf) "sashayed" everywhere she walked. Yes, I get it, she's sexy and uses it to get what she wants. Could have come up with something a bit different every now and again, though. There was also a lot of dialogue that just didn't sound like things people say. And some serious continuity issues. Like when Jesse and Lacey are having lunch, and he goes and has a conversation that goes for a maximum of five minutes, and then not only has Lacey ordered her lunch, but it's arrived and she's eating it! A few times that happened, where conversations that wouldn't have covered more than a page seemed to meant that hours had passed. So overall a passable read, I will probably look at getting the next one as I want to know what happens, and hopefully the writing improves! 3.5/5 stars. I really liked this book that I paid for the next book in this trilogy. This book was free and well worth it. It's about a girl named Lacey who has powers that drove away her father and had her mother and step father scared of her so one day when she was in trouble for letting her powers get out of control they decided to commit her in a hospital but she ran away to the nears state city. While there she learns that she's not the only one different. She meets twin brothers Cole and Jesse that look exactly alike but are different from each other like night and day. They both encounter her and want her for themselves.
