3.5 stars. A year ago I probably would have rated this book higher because I enjoyed it and immediately picked up book 2. I've become stingy with stars! Anyway, I enjoyed that the heroine was unconventional and I felt her connection with Vanni and was thoroughly entertained by the story. I liked that the author explored different kinds of groupies and showed us some of the more extreme versions. I felt slightly disconnected from the characters (like the story was being told to me and I felt...removed), parts were rushed/under-explained and I found myself not understanding Vanni and Andy's actions ... BUT I was entertained and am reading Rock Star so want to see how it all turns out! ****EROTICA BOOK CLUB REVIEW****GROUPIEBy Ginger VoightGiovanni Carnevale is the lead singer of up and rising rock band Dreaming in Blue, Andy Foster does promotional work for them and they have an attraction from their very first meeting. Andy tries to stay away from him without much luck!Vanni is dedicated to his fans, especially to the female fans and he also cares alot about his image. This story is about the timing never being right and how intense groupies can be.Andy is a curvy woman and does a great job of not being jealous. This story can be a bit frustrating at some points and I just want to give Vanni a swift kick between his legs. Saying that I really liked it and it kept me guessing and waiting for what going to happen next. Not your normal run of the mill rocker novel but a nice refreshing change and the beginnings of a love triangle. Vanni didn't have me swooning over him but he did break my heart and I don't think I will get over that.Looking forward to reading Rock Star now, lets just hope that Vanni has learnt his lesson....~Jane~
