About book Good Call: Reflections On Faith, Family, And Fowl (2014)
Jase Robertson divides the book between hunting for ducks and deer, and being a Christian. Jase makes a good role model, because he makes it clear that you can be a Christian, but still be yourself. He shares a chapter that is all about facial profiling. In it, he shares the story of going through an airport, and getting pulled aside for searches, etc. In the end, a young boy asks him for his autograph, and Jase thinks that someone finally recognizes him. The funny thing is that the boy thinks he is the caveman from the Geico ads. :-) In reading this book I quickly became an even bigger fan of Jason Robertson from the popular Duck Dynasty show. From meeting his wife to hunting in the words, from his kids to his faith these pages are filled with Jase's story from well before the days of Duck Dynasty to now. Jase Robertson gets real about his real every day life, passions and love for faith, family, and friends, and of course hunting. If you like the Robertson family, hunting or just a good biography I would highly recommend this one. Was a great read and I'm glad I picked it up and would definitely pick up any other ones he might write in the future.
