So Gobi strikes again, and Perry ends up having to trail after her across Europe this time with no explanations and gun threats. What I like most about this series is that it manages to balance comedy with action and a little bit of drama at the same time. Perry Stormaire also reminds me of Simon Lewis from Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series, and I love Simon Lewis. And I also love Perry & Gobi's relationship. It's as if they're falling and would do anything for each other without knowing it. By the end of this I was semi-crying and clutching my chest in disbelief. However, the two unexpectedly get by and leaves readers hanging and begging for the next book. I know I am.P.S.: I'm just so glad Paula turned out to be evil. 3.5 starsSequel to Au revoir, Crazy European ChickThe madcap antics of Perry and Gobi continue when the band, the Inchworms, gets a contract to do a European tour. Assassinations, kidnappings, threats, betrayals, narrow escapes, and more abound in this fast-paced action and adventure novel. There is lots to keep a reader at the edge of their seat, turning pages as quickly as they can - yet there is also some potential for confusion due to the number of characters and never quite knowing exactly who is on which side and what they are trying to accomplish. Overall, it is an enjoyable romp through Venice and Paris with dead bodies along the way.
