About book Go Green, Live Rich: 50 Simple Ways To Save The Earth And Get Rich Trying (2008)
An excellent book about how individuals can create a more sustainable lifestyle, both financially and environmentally. If society would begin to cut back a little bit from buying new clothes, gadgets, cars, etc. that we could have used longer and didn't yet need replaced we would all save ourselves money without feeling left out of not having the most fashionable 'whatever'. It is clear that the author truly cares about the environment and wants us all to benefit from a healthier, 'greener' life. Some information is redundant to what we hear from a lot of outlets, but there is definitely new information is the book. For instance, I was not aware that our tech trash is outsourced and shipped to other countries for disposal because regulations there are poor. Damaging any one environment eventually permeates the world we all share. I particularly enjoyed his calculations about how much water/waste/trees could be saved 'if'', though some calculations regarding how much money we can save in turn did seem a little inflated. Overall, I recommend this book to anyone and everyone who is looking for ways to save money and/or reduced their personal waste. This book is ok. I mean it's pretty informative, I'm not a true convert to going completely green by any means, but am interested in somethings at least. I felt like there's some good info in this book but it really bugs me when an author has to keep refering to all the other books they've written, like look at me see how great I am. That was my feeling anyway. The information part on living Green was educational, I learned some things I didn't know.

Not a bad book. Its more geared to living in the city but I got some useful tips out of it.
