I loved the way this book kept building up momentum! I was definitely very pleased with this book and am definitely looking forward to the next two installments! Love when someone recommends a book or author, & it all works out perfectly! As in another series by @ReidRomance...it made me wish I had a circle of friends such as this! Thanks for the entertainment @daisy_prescott ! The next two books are loaded, locked & ready! ;o) 4.25/5I have had the fortune of reading all three of Daisy's full length novels that are out and am much happier because I have. I did not, however, read them in the order written. While stand alones, all three books focus on characters living in the same world. First I read Ready to Fall, then Geoducks are for Lovers, and then Missionary Position. I can say in my personal opinion that each book is better than the last.Geoducks are for Lovers was a sweet second chance romance that kept me entertained and endeared. Geoducks in comparison to Ready to Fall wasn't as quickly paced with the evolution of the relationship, nor was it quite as funny. Still I loved the humor and the relationship between Maggie and Gil, both in their 40s and still stuck on each other.Maggie was a fun and strong female to read about, though often times frustrating as hell. She was the road block to the progression of the relationship and thus the story. I couldn't completely understand her hesitation when it came to giving in to what she not only wanted but what he obviously wanted too. All factors keeping the stores couple apart were completely created in Maggies mind, rather than externally.Gil was a sweet man who you couldn't help but fall for too. He saw what he wanted within his grasp and he wasn't going to make the same mistake again and let it slip through his fingers. I loved that there was no hesitation on his part in going after Maggie. Though this did make it harder to connect with Maggie and understand her decision it did make you root for Gil.This story is beautifully written and well crafted. The cast of supporting characters are very three dimensional themselves and makes you fall in love with all of them which is great considering there are more books which take focus on those characters. I fell in love with Whidbey Island through this book because it is described so vividly. I completely escaped to the island and have the desire to visit it someday.I love Daisy Prescott's books and this was no exception. Again I do feel that each book after this one is an improvement upon the last and think everyone should read them all because they are so different and unique to each couple they focus on.
