Another great hero from Grace Burrowes with another great heroine. This story has some twists and turns that kept me glued to my e-reader. It is a romance that slowly evolves rather than wham bam and very powerfully felt for that reason. How many times I was close to tears, not was I close to tears, is the question. I could feel the emotional pain described by each of them respectively. I thought I'd be uncomfortable with the premise of a good girl being groomed by a rake to be a madam (too unbelievable) it was tastefully done.I have decided I'm going to re-read this series once I'm finished, in order. Each stands alone, no problem there, but I love these lonely lords and their ladies. Circumstance has left Felicity and her sister, Astrid, with no male relative for protection after their father's death. An inheritance left to them could be their salvation, but for the requirement to inherit. Gareth, Marquess of Heathgate becomes involved in the plan to acquire the inheritance. Twists in the plot held my interest, with the secondary characters adding to the stories plot. The end was a surprise.
Do You like book Gareth: Lord Of Rakes (2013)?
My favorite scene is when Gareth takes his socks off and puts them on Felicity.
