What to say about the glorified short story. Well, it is about two guys named Frankie and Al. They are not very dynamic; they are not overly romantic; and they are in a story that plods along life every day life. It is not at all what I expected from the author: I was a little disappointed. I wouldn't want to read anything more about either of these two characters -- I just found them to be uninspiring. I guess this is a two star story from he. This isn't a short short story, but shorter than the usual romances. I didn't think this quite fell into the erotic category.This was a quick and fun read that I needed after reading a heavy and emotional book previously. I loved Frankie's character and the women who surrounded him, but I didn't really connect with Al do much. There wasn't enough story to feel the bit of angst that he comes with. But, all in all, I enjoyed it and will read it again sometime.
