These books are the most messed up things I've ever read.Yikes!I mean, think about it. One girl and nine guys. That's crazy! That's totally horrible and unbelievably idiotic! No girl should juggle that many relationships in her life. It's exhausting and impossible.I did love this book, just like I loved the ones before it, but I'm not liking this whole "sharing Sang" thing they've got going on. It's not a good idea. I hope this situation clears up someday. I like the series, and I liked this book in the series. It had some cute scenes. One of the few problems with this book is the seemingly gratuitous use of a racial slur. The author doesn't describe the student body, but you know it is mostly made up of poor minority students. The tone of the scene where the racial slur is used and the character's reaction to it doesn't really convey how messed up the character who used the slur is. I didn't expect outrage, and the character was shocked (or something) about the use of the slur but the scene overall didn't convey how messed up it is to use the term. On the other hand, this book is set in the South (United States), so maybe the fact that the story just moves right along despite the slur is brilliant. Because that sort of stuff happens all the time here and that is exactly how it is treated in real life. Hmmm...Anyway, this isn't the strongest book in the series. We just get a little more information about the boys and the Academy. This book sets up more questions than it gives answers. But it's Academy though!!! All updates are good updates!
