I was quite impressed with this book, not just because I love mermaids, but because of the interesting characters I was introduced to, and the beautifully told tale of a young girl trying to understand where she plays a role in a mermaid's mission. When I was in 6th grade, I read it, got rid of it (I still don't know why), and I bought it again two years later. I still have it, and I can just say that there is no possibility of me EVER getting rid of it again. This is a story for those who aren't fans of mermaids, fantasy, or suspense. It has so much more to it, and I think that if anyone wants a fun, but exciting, book, I'd recommend this. This book mesmerised me ! I read it in three days! The way that the writer mixed adventure ,with a bit of romance and lovely jokes. Adrianne is a very brave girl and tries to save her sister from anything that can take her away from Adrianne. She knows what boys are only supposed to know like reading and horse riding. When trouble comes she doesn't show it. Adrianne is very strong, brave and serious. And when happiness arrives she denies it for her family and love.I recommend it to every age and size!
Do You like book Forbidden Sea (2010)?
I kept expecting the mermaid and Adrianne to become romantically involved, but it never happened :(
