In this gorgeous book, a father and baby whale migrate together to their summer feeding grounds. The story itself is sweet and loving, while still imparting some interesting facts about whales. The cover does not do the illustrations inside justice. They are beautiful, deep and watery like the ocean, and very colorful, and they perfectly complement the story. This has become one of our new favorite bedtime reads, especially when my husband shares it with my daughter.
