About book Five Dates (2014)

This is my first time reading a book by this author and a very good first impression.I sometimes feel some authors really excel when writing books they aren't going to get paid for.I loved the characters and their stories. I liked the build up between the two main characters. The age gap did bother me a little only because that's a personal thing. Overall I thought this was cute and we'll written. By far one of the more realistic of the gay novel's I've been reading so far.I've met many of Jay's in my life and sure I will until I settle down..Loved Devin... such a sweetie and sounded like a guy I'd love to dateAm I the only one missing the Fifth date or did it happen somewhere in the book and blew pass me?Anyway was a short book but enough info was packed in it that it kept my attention all night..I've been in Devin's place, wanting to be with someone who acted like they didn't want you because of their past baggage and issues. I think so many of us suffer from that and miss out on good guys because we are expecting the other shoe to drop.I mean after their first not-a-date and the stories and info Devin told him about his sister and nephew and him dropping out of school to support them, etc... Jay ice cold heart should've have melted there I know mine did!!Deff a good book for those to read who want to help themselves get pass the guards they hold up and go for the guy that they know is right for them!!

Do You like book Five Dates (2014)?

Somewhat cliche, but it was free, and it was entertaining.
